Dr. Lovemore Ncomanzi is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with over 30 years of medical experience. For nearly two decades, he has been providing dedicated care to communities along Australia’s East Coast, particularly in Central Queensland, where he practised in Mackay for approximately 19 years. 

Dr Ncomanzi enjoys the full breadth of family medicine and provides comprehensive care to patients across all life stages – from infants to the elderly. He has extensive experience in general medicine, chronic disease management, and minor surgical procedures. His procedural expertise includes skin checks, the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, excisions of skin lesions and cysts, wedge resections of toenails, and Implanon insertions and removals.

He has a strong background in adolescent and women’s health, including antenatal and postnatal care, contraceptive counselling, sexual health screening and management, and reproductive health procedures. Dr Ncomanzi is also particularly interested in men’s health, travel medicine, and is an accredited yellow fever vaccinator. In addition, he provides care in the management of chronic health conditions such as diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, and workplace-related injuries and stress. He is committed to child and family health, including immunisations and preventative care.

Outside of his clinical responsibilities, Dr Ncomanzi enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and playing social golf.
